FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

I promise a minimum of 25 edited images from an hour long session. This does not include weddings or mini sessions.

What’s the best time to have a maternity?

Whenever you are ready, is always the best answer to this question! It's always better to wait until the second half of your pregnancy when you are showing, but truly, whenever you'd like to!

How should we dress for our family session?

-Coordinate, Don’t Match: Aim for coordinating colors rather than matching outfits. Choose a color palette that complements each other and avoids clashing.
-Choose Solid Colors: Solid colors tend to photograph better than busy patterns. They keep the focus on your faces and interactions rather than the clothes.
-Avoid Logos and Graphics: Steer clear of clothing with large logos or graphics, as they can be distracting and date your photos.
-Comfort is Key: Make sure you wear something that you feel comfortable and confident in. Your comfort will shine through in your photos.
-Dress for the Location: Consider the setting of your session and choose outfits that complement the surroundings

We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?

It's completely natural to feel a bit nervous or uncomfortable in front of the camera, especially during a family photo session. Here are some tips to help you and your family relax and enjoy the experience:

Be Yourselves: The best photos come from natural interactions and genuine moments. Don't worry about posing perfectly—just focus on enjoying the time with your family.

Have Fun: Think of the session as a fun family activity rather than a formal photoshoot. Laugh, play, and interact with each other as you normally would.

Comfortable Clothing: Wear outfits that make you feel good and allow you to move comfortably. Avoid anything too tight or restrictive.

Communicate with Me: Let me know if there are any specific concerns or preferences you have. I'm here to make the experience enjoyable and tailored to your needs.

Bring Props or Activities: If there are any favorite toys, books, or activities your family enjoys, bring them along! They can help create natural and candid moments.

Focus on Each Other: Instead of worrying about the camera, focus on the connection and love within your family. The genuine emotions will shine through in the photos.

Trust the Process: Remember that it's my job to capture beautiful moments. Trust that I'll guide you and capture the best of your family.

Stay Positive: A positive attitude can make a big difference. Approach the session with excitement and an open mind, and the results will reflect that energy.

Ultimately, my goal is to create a relaxed and enjoyable environment where your family's unique personalities and bonds can shine. If you have any questions or need further guidance, feel free to reach out—I'm here to help!
